It is a privilege to lead Vaishnavi school of Architecture & Planning (VSAP) - an institution that has been an important part of my own journey in architecture. With over two decades of professional and academic experience, along with doctoral research in disaster resilience and architecture, I see architectural education as a constantly evolving journey. Architecture today demands much more than technical competence; it calls for curiosity, critical thinking, sensitivity towards people and the environment, and the courage to imagine beyond the conventional. At VSAP, we are committed to creating a learning culture where students question, experiment, collaborate and develop the confidence to find their own voice of architects.
My vision for VSAP is o take the institution to its next level of academic, professional and creative excellence to build a school that is contemporary in its thinking, grounded in its values and prepared for the future. We aim to strengthen our studio culture, research, industry engagement, technology, interdisciplinary learning and real-world exposure, while nurturing architects who can respond intelligently to rapidly changing world. Our ambition is not simply to produce graduates, but to shape thoughtful, resilient and future-ready architects who can contribute meaningfully to the built environment and society.
