Ikkurthi Santoshi Annapurna

Ar. Santoshini Annapurna is an Environmental Architect, educator, entrepreneur, and licensed drone pilot with a multidisciplinary approach that combines architecture, sustainability, visual storytelling, and experiential learning. She completed her Bachelor of Architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University and later pursued a Master’s in Environmental Design.

She is the founder of Eternal Design (design studio) and FREEBIRD Architecture (aerial architecture) , where she works across environmental architecture, architectural documentation, drone cinematography, and creative visual communication. Her work includes eco-sensitive residential projects, construction documentation, and architectural storytelling through aerial cinematography.

Her design philosophy is rooted in slow living, nature-integrated spaces, minimalism, and biophilic architecture. She is deeply interested in researching Indian vernacular architecture, traditional climate-responsive building techniques, and sustainable architectural methods practiced across different regions of India, with the aim of integrating these principles into contemporary design solutions for a healthier relationship between humans and the environment.

As an educator and assistant professor, she strongly believes in encouraging students to strengthen their design fundamentals, critical thinking, and environmental sensitivity in order to create meaningful and responsible architecture. She aims to groom future designers who can contribute towards a stronger, sustainable future for both humanity and the Earth.

Beyond architecture, she is also a licensed drone pilot, advanced open-water scuba diver, swimmer, photographer, trekking enthusiast, and practitioner of Rajyoga meditation through Brahma Kumaris.

She has an experience of 10 years in the industry and 2 years in Academics.
